Meet 8-year-old Kevin McCallister - a mischievous kid with a wild imagination and a knack for trouble. The night before his family jets off to Paris for the holidays, Kevin pushes one button too many and gets sent to the attic. But when he wakes up the next morning to an empty house, he can’t believe his luck - his wish came true! His family is gone!
At first, it’s all junk food, sledding down the stairs, and jumping on the bed. But Kevin’s solo Christmas takes a twist when two not-so-bright burglars, Harry and Marv (Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern), set their sights on his house. Big mistake. Armed with a toolbox of booby traps and a whole lot of Christmas spirit, Kevin’s ready to defend his home - McCallister style.
