Director Chris Columbus brings us one of the most beloved family Christmas films of all time.
When 8-year-old Kevin McCallister, acts up the night before a family Christmas vacation to Paris, he is sent up to sleep in the attic by his mother. The next morning Kevin wakes to an empty house believing his wish for his family to disappear has come true.
While initially enjoying time by himself, he is later greeted by two burglars, Harry and Marv (Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern), on Christmas Eve no less! Now, it’s up to Kevin to save the day. He must save his house from being robbed before it’s too late, laying out a series of booby traps.
