Martin McDonagh returns to the silver screen once more. A triple threat (directing, writing and producing) providing another well-acclaimed fictional dark comedy/satire.
Starring John Malkovich and Sam Rockwell as CIA agents that are dispatched to Easter Island shortly before the 1973 Chilean coup d'etat, battling their own shadowy pasts and present conspiracies.
The film is already attracting a lot of attention for high ranking prizes in the next couple of months, with Malkovich displaying a potential career-best performance. He was awarded the Volpi Cup for Best Actor at the Venice Film Festival, where the film made its world premiere.
With a proven track record of British dark comedies directed by McDonagh (The Banshees of Inisherin, In Bruges), suffice to say, you will not be disappointed.
