After surviving a harrowing plane crash, former Special Forces soldier James Belmont (Pitt) finds himself stranded in the unforgiving Alaskan wilderness – accompanied only by his retired combat dog, Odin. Together they must fight to survive, battling the elements and journeying through the harsh Alaskan landscape!
Directed by David Ayer, the film marks the second collaboration between Ayer and Pitt, following 2014 war film Fury. Despite being set in Alaska, filming took place across New Zealand – including locations such as Queenstown and Fjordland!
