James Gunn brings the iconic characters of DC Comics back to the big screen, telling the story of Superman’s biological cousin: Supergirl!

Kara Zor-El (aka Supergirl - played by Milly Alcock) celebrates her 23rd birthday with an epic, interstellar planet-crawl, accompanied by her dog Krypto. But when an unexpected adversary strikes, she is forced to team up with the unlikeliest of companions in order to embark on a journey of justice and revenge.

From a director known for his flashy and comedic comic-book adaptations (Guardians of the Galaxy, The Suicide Squad, Peacemaker), James Gunn is no stranger to superhero movies! The film serves as the second instalment in the new DC Universe - a soft reboot of the previous DC franchise - with Gunn placed firmly at the helm.
