On a remote Scottish island, siblings Isla and Sandy (Gayle Rankin and Grant O’Rourke) spend their days protecting the island and – most importantly – defending against “Incomers”! However, their lives are turned upside-down when an awkward council official (Domhnall Gleeson) tries to evacuate them to the mainland. As long-held beliefs begin to falter, each of them must confront their world-views and question the lives they lead.
The film premiered to critical acclaim at the Sundance Film Festival in January, where it won the NEXT Innovator Award – recognizing original, forward-thinking films.
