This endlessly surprising and creature-filled fairy tale comes from the minds of Muppet maestro Jim Henson, Star Wars creator George Lucas, Monty Python’s Terry Jones and legendary designer Brian Froud.

When Fantasy-loving suburban 16-year-old Sarah (Jennifer Connelly) discovers that her baby brother Toby has been kidnapped, she must make her way through a fiendishly complex magical maze, in just thirteen hours, to win him back from Jareth, the Goblin King.

David Bowie delivers a wonderfully mysterious and magical performance as the Goblin King, providing the film with five memorable songs and a series of unfeasibly tight trousers.

With filming locations including West Wycombe, Elstree Studios and Hampstead Heath, it’s a real treat to welcome it home to the big screen this autumn.
With their technical astonishments, Director Henson and Executive Producer Lucas have been faithful to the pioneering Disney spirit. In suggesting the thrilling dilemmas that await a wise child, they have flown worlds beyond Walt.
