Kate Winslet brings typical depth and gravitas to the life of war photographer Lee Miller, a passion project for her, realised after almost a decade in the making.

After glamorous careers in New York as a model and Paris as a photographer, Lee is suddenly confronted with the ravages of WWII in Blitz-torn London, and abandons her refined life to show them to America. In this, she finds new strength and connections even as she faces greater danger and horrors – but these will continue to haunt her long after the war.
